Epiphany?

So, after watching Beautiful Losers, I had an ounce of an epiphany... No I haven't decided to start skateboarding, surfing, or crash cars in Tokyo, BUT I started thinking about why I make art and what is really important to me. I think that I am selfish. I like to impress myself and others. Family, friends, my man, are most important to me, so I usually use them in my work and probably always will... I decided to stop TRYING so hard to come up with an IMPORTANT idea or specific style, and just make whatever the hell I want. At least I will feel like I'm not faking it...
